Pugh: Memories, 2025. Digital Photography. DSLR and 2Ds
Mixed Memories‐ or Memories for short‐ is a collection of various images throughout my final semester of college! I wanted to present most of my 'scrapped'images or other interesting concepts that I haven’t used throughout my projects in school into one collection.
I heavily value my memories here and I want to save them with pictures, so why not focus on making a project based on them? Not many people can remember the specifics of college, although some of the more… unsavory classes come to mind first, nor do they take pictures (unless if you're a photography major/minor) of everyday life. I wanted to cement mine so I can always look back on them in the upcoming years!
And as an extra little tidbit, I used my DSLR in tandem with my old 2DS Camera! I realized my 2DS had a camera function earlier in the semester and ended up using it one day to take very unique and experimental photos, and you know what? They turned out fairly good! Good enough to add them to my memories, and add a vague nostalgic feeling to my photos- not all of them are like this but you'll certainly see them! While I could have used the more traditional photo setting with my 2DS, it had a 'Mystery' setting that packed an extra Punch! It blocks the photographer from seeing the image until they take the shot, then it adds some weird flair (Like adding bubbles, changing the contrast, zooming in randomly, or replacing parts of the image with other ones in camera!).
