Pugh: Drakefires (Or Wyvern Attack), 2025. Digital photography/Prints.
Drakefires was a fun piece, and one which got accepted into a student juried exhibit! It was nice to submit my work to the New Media department at UNCA and have it displayed! This was made in my photography class, both the negatives and the print were used in a darkroom! I made multiple different prints but I chose this one as my favorite.
The negative is reversed so it prints onto a light-sensitive paper when you expose it; the print isn't inverted. The Back is a little bit more 'bluer' in tone, while the front of the negative is more shiny. You'd want the front down so your piece doesn't get inverted! (Or do because it can make a good symmetrical piece.)
