I wanted to share a deep personal event with you that happened earlier this semester, my Brother's wedding! These photos and portraits I've shot mean everything to me, but not only that; it shows how the union of two people can bring so many friends and family together. I haven't really practiced good portrait photography, so having this experience was greatly appreciated to try it out in such a huge turnout! These are just a handful of the photos I took, but these are some of the strongest that encapsulates the unity weddings can bring, and the friends, bonds, families that form because of two (very lovely) individuals.
Most of these photos were taken as they were, and I was always ready to take a quick snapshot when I saw a good moment arise. The bride-to-be'ws Mother commented on my style, saying they were wonderful 'Candid photos' and I felt like that makes a good title to my project. I loved taking photos in the moment, with no alteration‐ other than some smoke and mirror tricks in Lightroom.
